Road, rail, air and ferry services might be affected, with longer journeys times likely, and some roads and bridges could close. Power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage. Some damage to buildings, such as tiles blown from roofs, could happen. The warning area has reduced to take this out of Northern Ireland, southwest Scotland, northwest England and northwest Wales as winds are easing here.
