You may have heard about a Long Jump flight that has happened from south to north including 4 hours over water. Traditionally pilots like to keep their cards close to their chest and wait for the prize giving lunch when all the results are shared.
But don’t let that put you off – the whole event was originally to encourage to creep out of the their comfort zone and fly further/longer than usual. It has proved to be very popular for good reason. The reports make wonderful reading and the common factor is everyone agrees it was good fun and they learned a lot.
So what are you waiting for? ( a few reports can be found HERE to inspire you )
