Today will be cold and sunny for most to start but cloud and winds will increase from the west during the afternoon, with patchy light rain arriving in north-western areas. Staying dry in the east.

Tonight

Tonight, southern areas will become wet as an area of heavy rain moves in from the west. Dry and mostly clear in the north-east. Rather cloudy elsewhere, with showery rain in the far north-west.

Monday

Tomorrow, any rain will clear south-eastern areas early on, leaving it mostly dry but cloudy. Northern areas will escape largely dry with sunshine but the far north-west may see a few showers.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday

Tuesday will be breezy, milder and generally dry. However, the far north may see showery rain in the morning, and the far south and west will turn wet overnight. Large areas of cloud for many but skies brightening up further north. Wednesday will be unsettled and breezy with spells of rain and showers. Variable cloud and some lingering showers on Thursday. Trending milder.
